In addition to Christine’s private practice and teaching acupuncture at university, she has a long history of establishing and working in community acupuncture clinics for addiction detox & recovery programmes. 

Christine currently works with crack addicts who were once homeless or in prison at a non-profit organisation in South London.  She provides acupuncture treatments with an emphasis on addiction withdrawal, detoxification, and relapse prevention.  She finds that participants in the programme who receive consistent acupuncture treatments experience higher success rates of detoxification and lower tendencies towards relapse and crime recidivism.

Christine is passionate about making acupuncture treatments affordable and accessible to everyone, which is why she designed and established ‘Zen in the City’ at Kingyo Therapy Suites.
